Veronica Purplegum Candles

This vigorous and vibrant Veronica is one of the best we have seen and flowers for the longest – from May through to September. Its bright purple candles are held on strong stems above compact mounds of lance-shaped, toothed leaves on bushy, well-branching plants. Flowering reliably in its first year, rarely bothered by pests and diseases and superbly hardy, it makes a low maintenance but floriferous perennial for the front of the border where it will attract plenty of bees and butterflies.
